The Little Gym began as the idea of one man who wanted to do something significant for children. Robin Wes, a musician, former gymnast, and kinesiologist, created The Little Gym concept in 1976 to help children develop vital motor skills in a fun, musical, and non-competitive environment. Robin envisioned a place where children could reap the benefits of physical activity while enhancing their social, emotional, and intellectual skills. Today, his original vision serves as a springboard for life’s adventures and a fun franchise opportunity.

The Little Gym has been motivating and inspiring children since 1976 and today has over 400 locations. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are excited to see where our journey takes us. The next chapter of our kids’ gym franchise began when we joined the Unleashed Brands family in 2021. We are so excited to be part of their platform of youth enrichment brands impacting children and families throughout the world.
